Politics
Okay, I usually try not to get political on this thing, but I've just about had it up to here with our government. $700 BILLION dollars to bail out companies who made bad decisions about who to loan money to? Face it, they took a big risk by giving loans to people they knew couldn't afford homes, and they lost. But now, we responsible Americans who waited until we could afford a home to buy one have to foot the bill for their mistakes.
And my fellow Americans could not agree more: A poll on congress.org says that 91% of us oppose the $700 billion bailout.
